LTC: air travel on non-Air India carriers allowed on 14 more sectors
The Department of Expenditure has permitted travel by private carriers on fourteen additional sectors where the national carrier does not operate a direct service, for the purpose of Leave Travel Concession.
Bookings must continue to be made either directly from the airline website or through Balmer Lawrie, Ashok Travels and Tours, or IRCTC. Tickets purchased from any other agent will not be reimbursed.
Employees are reminded to claim the LTC advance not more than 65 days before the date of outward journey, and to produce tickets within ten days of return.
The relaxation for travel to Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, the North Eastern Region and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands has been extended by a further two years.
